Life is busy and it always seems like there aren’t enough hours in the day. With ‘to-do’ lists a mile long, we are barely keeping our heads, not to mention, our sanity above water. But, no matter how long that list is, there is almost always one item on the agenda missing...Time For Yourself!
It happens to the best of us--our minds always jumping to the next thing. It’s easy to feel drained and unmotivated. The constant hustle and grind take a toll and I think we can all agree that we deserve some time off.
Personally, I didn’t necessarily have time to block out of my schedule for this, so instead, I decided to incorporate a time of mindfulness into my everyday routine by doing something that keeps me motivated and is something I enjoy. For me, this was podcasts.
They’re a great way to optimize your time and get inspired. The best part? They make your workout and morning commute a whole lot more bearable. Not focusing on how many reps you have left or how slow the train is running. Podcasts are definitely the way to go. I for one love Health and Fitness podcasts. When I am training on thePilates Pro Chair, I tune into my favorite podcasts and watch the time fly as I power through my workout. They keep you informed, entertained and inspired all while being built right into your routine.
